Location: The airport is situated 15 miles (24km) north of Bangkok.

Transfer between terminals:
Shuttle buses provide a free service between the terminals.

Transfer to the city:
Airport buses provide services to many hotels, and an air-conditioned airport bus service operates between the airport and downtown Bangkok; the fare is around 100 Bht per person. Taxis are available outside all terminals; the trip to central Bangkok typically costs 250 Bht. Travellers are advised to only take licensed, metered taxis. If the meter doesn't work agree the price in advance. The price of the tolls, about 50 Bht, will be added.

Car rental:
Car rental companies represented at the airport include Avis and Budget.

Facilities:
Facilities include banks, bureaux de change, a couple of restaurants and bars, and a post office. Disabled facilities are available; those with special needs should contact their airline in advance.

Departure tax: Bt500.
